Reporting to the Director, National Pricing, this position influences sales growth objectives through pricing strategy and optimization. Working closely with the regional and sales teams, you will conduct market pricing analysis, review internal pricing structure optimization through proper segmentation, as well as support and suggest the pricing strategy. This position requires strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills and will be a driver to obtaining profitability.

What you will accomplish with us:

• Analyze and suggest improvement to the existing pricing architecture, procedures to ensure timely execution of the pricing strategy.
• Implement gross margin improvement and optimization based on company objectives.
• Analyze and compare national and cross-regional pricing models and collaborate with sales and leadership teams for improvement.
• Develop, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators related to margin and pricing optimization, ensuring understanding and communication to the regional teams.
• Work closely with Cost Analyst to manage and propose the introduction of price changes to customers.
• Track and understand market conditions and enhance processes to ensure timely analysis and response.
• Train (advisory role) sales or other order entry staff on the basics of pricing and understanding the pricing matrix.

What You Bring to Our Team:

• A self-starter, change agent who can proactively drive continuous improvement grounded in data-driven analysis.
• Good communication skills with a proven ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the company.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including analytical, administrative, and tactical execution where required.
• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of cost to sales fundamentals in distribution including the impacts customer segmentation, and category product mix.
• Proven presentation skills.
• University Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years’ experience in Business Analytics.
