Distribution centre supervisor position (evening shift)

The distribution centre supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, analyzing, directing and controlling all the activities of the distribution centre for the evening shift.

Principal tasks:

- Coach, direct, evaluate, and develop the members of his team (25 warehouse employees plus a team leader).
- Management of order preparation, allocation of resources to the various warehouse tasks.
- Follow up on employee disciplinary files. Address employee mistakes and encourage excellence.
- Manage work schedules. Validate hours worked.
- Demonstrate rigor in monitoring policies, operating rules and procedures.
- Develop, plan and initiate regular meetings with warehouse employees to optimize communication and operations planning.
- Growing company with involvement in various improvement projects.
- Actively participate in the management of occupational health and safety.
- Recommendation and implementation of best working practices.
- Distribution centre 150,000 sq. ft., 40,000 SKUs supported by a WMS system.

Requirements:

- Computer skills: Office Suite, Warehouse Management System, ERP (important asset).
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Recognized leadership qualities
- DES completed combined with relevant experience in supervision
