The incumbent will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, equipment, supplies and services from suppliers that meet the company’s requirements.

- 100% remote
- You can work from anywhere in Canada.

Principal tasks:

• Analyze the needs related to its categories;
• Responsible for inventory management related to its categories;
• Ensure the availability of the products related to its categories;
• Issuing purchase orders;
• Perform follow ups with suppliers;
• Give status to internal clients on all issues related to its categories;
• Track complaints and non-conformities with suppliers;
• Answer questions from sellers and branch employees;
• Analyze obsolete or slow moving products;
• Participate in the development of products that will be assigned;
• Create product codes in the computer system and adjust the settings of these products, regarding providers for which it is responsible;
• Any other tasks required by the position.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of experience
• College diploma in administration, procurement or equivalent
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Good Knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
