Reporting to the director of the Project Management Office (PMO), you act as an expert, helping to identify and analyze how to seize opportunities and understand problems and their sources to recommend solutions. You collaborate in identifying needs and proposing solutions for improvement and support the solution implementation team to help deliver the expected benefits. You foster a corporate culture that embraces analytical methods to identify problems, their origins, and the range of potential solutions. You always develop and maintain mutually supportive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders while promoting Master’s values and culture.

Principal tasks:

• Plan the approach, activities, management, and governance for business analysis
• Analyze and structure solution requirements (the features sought)
• Synthesize solution requirements to make them easier to understand
• Help identify solution options and create a model of solution recommendations (solution design)
• Establish documentation that demonstrates the links between a solution’s requirements and its benefits
• Assess the performance and value of the solutions implemented and give recommendations for improvement based on the circumstances
• At each stage of the business analysis process, obtain stakeholder consensus on the proposed changes and the approval of the person in authority
• Perform analysis of the organization’s capabilities to identify the most effective strategies for implementing business solutions
• Have a detailed understanding of the assigned departments’ operations and business processes; map and identify improvement opportunities
• Act as an intermediary between the client and the IT team to ensure that needs are well understood and the recommended solutions meet expectations
• Support the various stages of implementation and ensure an appropriate follow-up is done
• Participate in the evolution of implemented solutions and provide the required support
• Ensure knowledge transfer for new solutions to support the team

Requirements:

• University degree in a technology-related field or combination of a diploma of college studies and relevant experience
• Five years of experience in business analysis
• Proven skill and experience in workshop facilitation and process mapping
• Experience in technology projects, including ERP
• Ability to analyze and synthesize and a knack for quickly understanding new business processes
• Ability to identify, assess, and propose the best solutions
• Ability to influence and convince others and then initiate the changes needed
• Listening and interpersonal skills
• Action- and results-oriented customer based approach
• Speed in solving problems or resolving situations
• Experience in web and mobile application development
• Must possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to draft documents
• Ability to work on a team, but also independently
• Initiative
• Be motivated to acquire new knowledge and skills
• Strong speaking and writing skills in both French and English
• Ability and willingness to travel
