Under the supervision of the Human Resources & Payroll Director, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department with various HR projects and administrative tasks. Moreover, the successful candidate will support managers and employees in the areas of recruitment, on-boarding, training and development, policy and procedure compliance, attendance and workplace health and safety.
• Work with business groups and provide end to end recruitment support, from sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, and conducting background checks;• Send welcome emails to new employees, as well as ensure the update of the organizational charts;• Prepare Offer Letters, new hire packages and onboarding paperwork;• Prepare, draft, translate and distribute documentation as required (memos, letters, emails, etc.);• Prepare various documents (confirmation of employment, confirmation of insurance coverage, etc)• Keep employee records up to date using ATS and HRIS system;• Responsible for the payment and follow-up of suppliers billing;• Attend career fairs and support the hiring team with recruitment activities and networking; • Send gift cards/flowers for birth or death;• Gather and process the training data in regard of the 1% law (workforce skills development and recognition act) and organize training depending on the needs;• Liaise with other departments (Payroll, management team) as needed;• Perform general office duties such as employee filing (electronically);• Support the HR Advisor with daily HR functions and participate in continuous improvement initiatives;• Other related duties.
• Completion of College / University or relevant experience in an HR field related to the role;• 1-3 years broad recent experience in human resources;• Strong communication skills;• Strong priority management and organizational skills;• Ability to analyze and strong judgment.• Bilingual (mandatory)• Strong knowledge of MS Office (more specifically Excel)
