The incumbent’s main role will be to actively participate in the operational process of sales to both complete and boost equipment sales. This person must support the consulting engineers and specialized contractors assigned to him or her; select air conditioning, ventilation and heating equipment; and support the sales team from the preliminary project until the end of the sales process. The incumbent will be responsible for proactively promoting the company and all the products it supports in the HVAC-R industry.

Principal tasks:

- Building relationships in the HVAC-R industry
- Visiting customers and worksites
- Selecting equipment in design documents
- Ensuring that the products worked on with the consulting engineers are specified
- Analyzing and qualifying the projects that will be submitted by the internal team
- Preparing product equivalence tables
- Promoting equipment supported by the company (equipment, ventilation and heating)
- Acting as a leader and coaching with the internal support and estimation team
- Being involved throughout the sales process
- Submitting bids for pre-purchasing equipment
- Managing specialized contractor accounts
- Making technical drawings when needed


- DCS in building services with experience in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (at least five years of experience)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with experience in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (at least five years of experience)
- Experience in technical sales
- Contact network in HVAC-R is an undeniable asset.

General knowledge of computer science
• Knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Both oral and written bilingualism (French and English)

- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership and team spirit
- Strong analytical skills and ability to back up one’s opinions with sound arguments
