Reporting directly to the director of finance, the incumbent is responsible for managing billing and payable activities. He or she will ensure the proper recording of daily operations and will take charge of optimization projects related to his or her field of business. In this capacity, he or she acts as an agent of change on his or her teams.

Principal tasks:

• Supporting the management of the billing team’s operations and ensuring that controls are applied
• Responsible for managing the operations of the payables and expense accounts team and ensuring the application of controls
• Ensuring the proper recording of transactions and thoroughness in the codification of transactions
• Participation and management of process improvement and optimization projects related to his or her sector
• Collaborating on improving and implementing new tools facilitating the recording of daily operations
• Participating in the month-end and year-end process in support of the financial controller’s team
• Participating in developing the company’s budgets in support of the financial controller’s team
• Implementing performance indicators to improve the management and performance of the activities under his/her responsibility
• Supporting the director of finance in preparing management information for senior management


• BBA, accounting option
• Accounting designation
• Bilingual in French and English
• Experience of more than 5 years in a similar corporate role
• Experience with ERP information systems
• Experience with internal controls
• Experience in improving business processes
• Experience in managing a back office with high volume of transactions
• Mastery of the MS Office suite (especially Excel)
