Warehouse Person

The company employs close to 950 dynamic and devoted individuals who serve the industry at over 44 branches and 4 distribution centres spanning from coast to coast.

The incumbent handles, moves, loads and unloads trucks by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment (forklift / pump truck) in the safe manner.

The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 11: 00 am to 8:00 pm

Principal tasks:

Provide superior customer service;
Physically receive goods, confirm quantities and receive in to the computer system;
Pick and pack orders (using RF scanner) for counter sales, ship warehouse transfers and/or courier deliveries;
Assist in customer loading and unloading of parts by hand or using a forklift;
Stock shelves and organize overstock locations;
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, work areas clean;
Abide by all company safety regulations;
Various other related duties as assigned by supervisor such as opening containers & crates, preparing orders, inventory, etc.

Requirements:

High School completed;
Valid Forklift certificate (Counterbalance and Reach Truck);
Previous experience using scanners (an asset)
Dangerous Goods certification (an asset);
Ability to lift or move heavy products;
Experience and/or training in similar position;
Safety footwear required.
