The incumbent performs, among other things, transportation submissions in addition to providing customer service for our internal and external clients.

Principal tasks:

• Prepare transport submissions
• Support users of the transport system
• Respond to phone and e-mail communications from internal and external customers within a short time
• Ensure smooth operation and problem solving related to the company's daily transportation operations
• Claims management with different carriers
• Management of the hazardous materials documentation
• Conduct analysis of delivery activities to determine the efficiency of methods and routes
• Suggest and implement any work methods that can optimize and improve the transport operation, in collaboration with the transport supervisor
• Keep a close eye on the demands of his immediate supervisor
• Any other related tasks

Requirements:

• College or Professional diploma
• Possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the logistic and distribution field, including transportation
• Bilingualism, oral and written communication in French and English
Computer skills:
• Office suite
• Management system (ERP, WMS, TMS) is an important asset
Be proactive, available and flexible for the tasks to achieve
• Demonstrate leadership and discipline at work
• Maintain and encourage good relations with other internal departments
• Ability to multi-task in an organized manner
