While actively involved in the operations, the Branch Director plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the operations of its branch.
• Interview, hire and establish a process for ongoing staff training • Understand all company policies and procedures related to the position • In partnership with Operations Director, develop internal succession plan to support business growth • Develop and maintain good business relationship with all internal and externals parties • Develop new sales initiatives, strategies to achieve sales objectives • Promote and maintain a safe working environment • Take ownership to ensure performance reviews are completed in a timely manner and action plans are in place for development of staff • Lead, and coach the sales team to promote customer service excellence • Proactively monitor industry developments to keep up with changes and make recommendations as needed • Ability to resolve technical problems • Direct and advise staff in the accomplishment of their tasks • Plan, administer and control various budgets (contracts, equipment, inventory, supplies, etc.) • Maintain a good administrative management • Support client services, offer technical support to clients and employees • Plan and participate in the annual inventory
• Previous experience in HVAC-R industry with demonstrated product knowledge • Professional schooling in a refrigeration program • Previous retail management or supervisory experience (an asset) • Excellent aptitudes for leadership, motivation, and coaching • Good interpersonal relationships and team player • Strategic thinker and results oriented • Ability to build a motivated sales team • Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities in relation to growth strategies • Self starter with a determination to succeed • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment • Strong business acumen with solid work ethics
