The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and the planning, execution, tracking and delivery of various projects. The Project Manager ensures that each project needs are met within the required timeframe. This role entails oversight of multiple projects on the go at any given time from the moment the sale is completed until the final invoicing.

Principal tasks:

• Co-ordination with the Sales Representatives and Estimation Group so as to effectively “deliver the project”
• Establish contact with the project manager at our clients and achieve customer satisfaction based on the established business agreement.
• Review all bid documents to ensure compliance with equipment. Review any Issued for Construction drawings to determine if there are any changes to the scope.
• Validation and review of the Project estimated cost provided by the Estimation Group
• Preparation of Manufacturer’s submittal drawings for approval of equipment
• Follow up with the Customer on the timely return of submittal drawings
• Engaging the Estimation Group in the pricing of Change Notices on the project
• Issuing of all orders to various manufacturers for the equipment
• Co-ordinating the release of all equipment into manufacturing with various manufacturers and as requested by the customer
• Scheduling and organizing equipment deliveries with the customer
• Approval of all invoices from manufacturers
• Co-ordinating and invoicing of equipment sold to the Customer
• Attending any jobsite meetings as required
• Site visits for witnessing of delivery of equipment and providing inspection reports as required
• Preparing and issuing Maintenance Manuals for the project
• Organizing documents and filing of emails within the Project file structure in accordance with company procedures
• Financial monitoring of the project revenue and expenses so as to optimize profit during the duration of the project
• Closing off of the project upon completion
• Processing of any warranty claims or contractor claims that may arise
• Perform all other related duties as assigned
• Co-ordination of Start Up, Commissioning and Owner Training

Requirements:

• Post Secondary education in HVAC or a related discipline
• Experience in HVAC/R products and industry (an asset)
• Advance knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
• Comfortable working with ERP software
• Experience in project management and asset
• Willingness to acquire industry knowledge
• Site visits as required
