The incumbent is responsible to review construction plans and generate quotations for project proposals containing our commercial, industrial, and heating products. Additionally, he will conduct sales of business solutions HVAC equipment, accessory parts and supplies over the phone. He will also provide after-sales technical support to clients whom are contractors, engineer firms, etc.

Principal tasks:

- Review and evaluate technical design documents and quotations;
- Software equipment selections (Hitachi VRF, York RTU’s, Reznor heating equipment) required to meet clients’ needs
- Prepare estimates based on project specifications and complete proposals;
- Prepare technical drawings for clients’ approval; (shop drawings)
- Answer calls from clients and external representatives;
- Projects take offs from full mechanical drawings
- Manage projects and work with mechanical contractors and engineers;
- Inform clients on standard procedures;
- Follow up with clients to ensure their full satisfaction, either verbally or in writing;
- Determine the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and company adherence to policies;
- Respond to customers’ inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services.

Requirements:

- Sales related training programs
- Product related training
- A minimum of 1 year and up to 5 years of experience in retail sales or technical related field
- Experience in HVAC design to demonstrate proposals and discuss with clients
- Knowledge of Ashrae Standards and the National Building Code of Canada an asset.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
