Under the supervision of the logistics analysis team leader, the logistics analyst acts as a resource person supporting the company’s distribution, transportation and logistics operations at the national level. He or she will be responsible for analyzing the various operations of our distribution centres to optimize operational processes and the quality of our customer service.

Principal tasks:

• Mastering the WMS system and support users
• Analyzing and correcting interface errors between WMS and ERP
• Tracking inventory reports, reconciling and making adjustments
• Analyzing various elements at the national level to support decision-making
• Writing training materials, work procedures and process modeling
• Updating distribution centre plans (AutoCad)
• Preparing presentations for management
• All other related tasks

Requirements:

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics operations management (BBA/LOM) or industrial engineering
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in a distribution environment
• Being available to travel occasionally across Canada
• Holding a valid driver’s license

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
• Spoken and written bilingualism (French/English)
• Knowledge of AutoCad software (an asset)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA an asset) and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge/understanding of ERP and WMS software (SX Enterprise, TWL) software (an asset).
