The incumbent will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, equipment, supplies and services from suppliers that meet the company’s requirements.

Principal tasks:

• Analyzing needs related to his or her categories
• Responsible for the management of the inventory related to his or her categories
• Ensuring that the products related to his or her categories are available
• Issuing purchase orders
• Monitoring purchase orders with suppliers
• Giving internal clients a status on any issue related to his or her categories
• Following up on complaints and non-conformities with suppliers
• Responding to requests from salespeople and branch employees
• Analyzing obsolete or slow-moving products
• Participating in the development of products assigned to him or her
• Creating codes in the computer system and correcting the settings on these products for the suppliers he or she is responsible for
• Any other duties required by this position.


• College diploma in administration, procurement or equivalent
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Good Knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
