We are looking for someone who is a software quality enthusiast. This person will be able to develop test coverage and knows the right quality controls and relevant software tests to conduct. The incumbent’s main functions will be to develop software test plans; support developers, analysts and users in their tests; and implement and run manual and automated tests for our ERP. He or she will bring expertise in quality control and software testing for a broad array of business applications and ERP.

Principal tasks:

Stimulating Job Functions
• Working with the IT software development and support team, project teams and businesspeople to understand initiatives and design and deliver appropriate tests and checks that meet expressed requirements
• Acting as a quality specialist by recommending the right tools, processes, best practices, and actions to validate and verify the quality of IT systems.
• Acting as a quality leader and coordinator—planning, monitoring, and coordinating tests and patches

Requirements:

Your Professional Background
• DCS/Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a specialization in software testing, software engineering or the equivalent
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• CSTQB/ISTQB certification or equivalent is a significant asset.
• Proven experience in software testing (plans, scenarios, scripts, tools), small and large projects
• Knowledge of the best practices in quality control
Experience in ERP systems is definitely an asset.
• Experience in test automation is an asset.
