The incumbent will be the company’s resource person for the product lines under his or her responsibility. The candidate will be responsible for marketing his or her product lines, specifically the YORK rooftop and DX products. He or she will also be responsible for commercial relations with suppliers. He or she will be a technical resource for sales and after-sales service staff to help solve problems.
The incumbent will be required to travel regularly to the Master Group’s various business locations to support sales teams and, occasionally, suppliers. We are looking for someone with at least ten years of experience in the field of rooftop units at a manufacturer, distributor or contractor related to the HVAC field.

Principal tasks:

• Providing expertise for various HVAC fields engaged in by Master
• Guiding Sales in making the best technological choices
• Training and developing sales teams’ knowledge about product and technology choices
• Supporting sales teams to address problems with equipment that has been sold
• Developing and maintaining strong connections with suppliers
• Identifying product strategies for different territories and aligning them with the company’s sales and growth strategies
• Marketing various products:
o Preparing marketing tools, catalogues and sales guides
o Technical training (product, installation, application)
o Promoting products to the entire Master sales network and clientele
• Involvement with suppliers to align their expectations with strategic sales plans
• Being involved with Sales in analyzing business opportunities and optimizing mechanical designs
• Supporting after-sales service teams
• Identifying competitive positioning for products, watching for new technologies and monitoring market positioning

Requirements:

• At least ten years of relevant industry experience
• Specialized studies in building mechanics (bachelor’s of mechanical engineering/building/construction or DCS in building services and relevant experience)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
• Knowledge of MS Office software

• Mastery and knowledge of products’ technical applications
• Technical knowledge of the products represented and those of the competition
• Knowledge of the products’ target
