Under the responsibility of the estimation supervisor or the sales director, the incumbent will be responsible for, among other things, bidding on projects assigned to him or her. In addition, he or she will support customers and other team members.
•Making contact with our customers’ project managers and ensuring client satisfaction based on the established business agreement•Identifying the specific aspects of the projects beforehand (power supply requirements, installation requirements and review of the needs for automatic regulation) and establishing an action plan to reduce problems on the worksite•Qualifying projects for bid with the sales team•Analyzing plans and specifications•Making lists of products to be bid on in the plans•Consolidating project costs and surpassing the financial performance parameters set at the sale• Putting together bids to send to contractors•Actively participating in meetings to establish closure strategies for key projects•Monitoring the project through closure, which includes checking for addenda and verifying the date and time of closure.•Providing technical support to clients and the team•Supporting all stakeholders on the team involved in project that have been bid on (project manager, external representative, supervisor, etc.)•Planning equipment delivery with the logistics team•Planning commissioning assistance when needed•Setting up the transition with the internal team and our customers for requests during the warranty period•Being responsible for maintaining established standards and processes for documenting sold projects•Choosing products from manufacturers’ pricing software•Ensuring that the products bid on meet the requirements of the plans and specifications and involving the engineer’s representative to obtain approval when presenting equipment equivalencies
• Knowledge of MS Office software• Bilingualism: French and English• General knowledge of building services
