Under the guidance of our Distribution Center Director, this role oversees the daytime operations of the distribution center. Responsibilities include achieving performance objectives, maintaining accurate inventory, upholding quality standards, and effectively managing the team. This position supervises the receiving, inventory, and shipping teams. #RefreshYourCareer

What you will accomplish with us:

•Lead our distribution center: Manage our 150,000 sq. ft. facility with 40,000 SKUs supported by a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

•Facilitate the relocation: Guide the team through the move to our new 350,000 sq. ft. distribution center in St-Bruno de Montarville in fall 2024.

•Team development: Coach, lead, evaluate, and develop team members to achieve organizational goals.

•Order preparation: Ensure accurate and efficient order preparation, aligning with other warehouse activities.

•Resource optimization: Continuously optimize resource allocation across warehouse tasks.

•Employee management: Handle disciplinary matters, encourage excellence, and drive continuous improvement.

•Work schedules: Optimize work schedules and validate work hours.

•Policy adherence: Ensure adherence to policies, operational rules, and procedures.

•Communication and engagement: Foster regular meetings with warehouse employees to optimize communication, engagement, and operational planning.

•Health and safety: Maintain workplace health and safety standards at all times.

•Best practices: Propose recommendations and implement best practices.

•Recruitment and onboarding: Actively participate in recruitment, selection, and quality onboarding of new employees.

What You Bring to Our Team:

•Bilingualism: Proficiency in oral and written communication in French and English is mandatory.

•Technical skills: Proficiency with ERP and WMS software (Infor is an asset).

•Distribution experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the distribution field.
