Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position supervises many of the afternoon activities of a warehouse operation. This position ensures performance goals are met, maintains inventory accuracy, adheres to quality standards, and effectively manages your team. This position supervises employees who oversee inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow activities. This position manages operational efficiency and ensures work completion in an operational area.

What you will accomplish with us:

• Coordinate, assign and review the work and set work schedules.
• Participate in the hiring of warehouse personnel as well as its training and development;
• First responsible for the employees of the department;
• Manage and supervise a team of warehouse employees;
• Respect deadlines;
• Responsible for the proper functioning of equipment in the warehouse;
• Make prevention regarding the handling of the goods;
• Calculate productivity and ability to follow the data
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of the daily operations of its teammates.
• Plan the daily labor needs of the warehouse and ensures compliance with standards, policies and productivity requirements.
• Ensure daily operations are conducted in accordance with the standards in health and safety and the losses of the prevention program.
• Is in constant communication with other members of the distribution center management team in order to maintain an effective and consistent management.

Identify material needs for the warehouse and discuss it with the Warehouse Manager.

Health & Safety knowledge of regulations and workers compensation processes
Secondary school graduation - Required
Minimum 1-2 years warehouse related experience
Supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and training an asset
Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Good computer skills and experience in a technology-based radio frequency environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Proficiency in the English language
Bachelor's degree or International equivalent - Preferred
