Legal advisor

Join our team as Legal Counsel and play a key role in managing the company's legal risks. You will ensure the legal compliance of our activities while developing a solid understanding of operational issues and contributing to the creation of value for Groupe Master.

If you're proactive, have excellent judgment, are resourceful, and excel at managing priorities while having a strong business sense, we'd like to hear from you.

What you will accomplish with us:

- Provide legal advice and manage litigation files.
- Collaborate with outside counsel to develop litigation strategies, prepare witnesses, assess risks, and participate in mediations and trials.
- Work closely with various departments to support their business initiatives and reduce legal risks.
- Contribute to training on best business practices.
- Manage the company's intellectual property files.
- Draft, negotiate and interpret various contracts.
- Proactively monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the company's activities.

What You Bring to Our Team:

- Member of the Quebec Bar for 3 to 6 years.
- Collaborative leadership and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Relevant experience in construction law and product liability (an asset).
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written, due to our activities in Canada and the United States.

Compensation information:
Base salary: $105,000 - $125,000 per year
Additional compensation packages include: Annual bonus
