The person's main function will be to be actively involved in the sales operational process in order to stimulate and achieve equipment sales. This person will have to support the specialized contractors assigned to him/her, select air conditioning, ventilation and heating equipment, support the sales team from the pre-project stage to the end of the sales process. The incumbent will pro-actively promote the company and all the products it supports in the HVAC-R industry.
- Build relationships in the HVAC-R industry;- Visit customers and job sites;- Analyze and qualify projects presented to him/her- Promote the mechanical solutions offered by Le Groupe Master (equipment, ventilation, heating);- Make equipment selections;- Provide leadership and coaching to internal support and estimating team;- Be involved in the entire sales process;- Specialized contractor account management- Produce technical drawings when required
- DEC in building mechanics with experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (minimum five years' experience);or- BAC in mechanical engineering with experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (minimum three years' experience);- Experience in technical representation;- Network of HVAC-R contacts: a definite assetQUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED :- Interpersonal skills, leadership and team spirit;- Good analytical skills and ability to back up convictions;- Ability to work under pressure;- Proven talent for planning, organization and time management;- Ability to make decisions, show initiative and autonomy;- Ability to read plans and specifications;- Ability to write bids;- Willingness to learn computer tools (manufacturing software, CRM, inventory, etc.);- Good negotiation skills and understanding of sales;- Good understanding of building mechanical ecosystems- Initiative and resourcefulness;- Speed of execution;- Diplomacy and courtesy.KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED :- General computer skills- Knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)- Advanced knowledge of building mechanics (psychrometry, fluid mechanics & thermodynamics)- Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with Master employees and suppliers based in our offices in Ontario, Western Canada and Maritimes, and interactions in French with suppliers and employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
