The Outside Sales Representative, Refrigeration will be responsible for representing the company to the assigned customers in the Lower Mainland, BC territory. They must respond, in collaboration with the other members of the department, to the requirements of the customers with the objective of increasing sales and profits. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and leveraging the Master value proposition, based on knowledge of customer challenges and business objectives. They are responsible to find, qualify and onboard new accounts through various methods of outbound prospecting.

What you will accomplish with us:

• Provide product solutions for incoming inquiries;
• Review and evaluate plans and specifications;
• Cross reference parts or equipment based on the requirements to meet the customer's needs;
• Assist with projects and work with mechanical contractors and engineers;
• Prepare quotations based on project plans/specifications and complete proposals;
• Prepare technical drawings and data sheets for clients’ approval;
• Provide the contractor with material lists and quotations thru written and verbal communication;
• Answer calls and written communications from clients, branch representatives and external representatives;
• Process orders in line with the proper company policies and procedures while communicating with all parties; (purchasing, sales team, logistics team, customers);
• Provide after PO# support with proper follow up with clients to ensure their full satisfaction;
• Ensure projects take offs are accurate and complete;
• Manage projects and work with mechanical contractors;
• Inform clients on standard procedures;
• Follow up with clients to ensure their full satisfaction, either verbally or in writing;
• Determine the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and company adherence to policies;
• Assist with providing the best method to problem resolution when issues occur to ensure customer satisfaction while following company policies and procedures;
• Work with internal and external departments to ensure customer satisfaction;
• Respond to customers’ inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services.

What You Bring to Our Team:

• Post Secondary education in Refrigeration or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in refrigeration & hydronics (an asset)
• Advance knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
• Comfortable working with ERP software
• Willingness to acquire industry knowledge
• Completion of sales related training programs (an asset)
• High level of commitment to exceptional customer service;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French will be an asset;
• Professional phone manner;
• Self motivated, organized and strong interpersonal skills;
• Good sales abilities and persuasiveness;
• Ability to close sales and work under pressure;
• Good judgment and decision-making skills;
• Ability to problem solve and provide variable solutions based in customer needs and company objectives;
• Ability to effectively manage time and perform in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment;
• Willingness to continually learn;
• Team player and ability to work independently.

Compensation Information:
Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
Supplemental Pay Types Include: commission, annual bonus
