• Develop and maintain lease administration processes; • Manage lease documents such as new leases, assignments, renewals, amendments, changes of control and prepare lease summaries; • Track critical dates related to leases and contracts, such as condition dates, lease expirations, renewal options and termination options; Inform responsible stakeholders and ensure that required actions are taken within the required timeframes; • Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of lease agreements; • Maintain the centralized property information database. • Liaise with legal department regarding insurance; Administer insurance database; Obtain and distribute insurance certificates for lease compliance; • Administer all lease payments (rent, taxes, operating costs, adjustments) and act as point of contact for landlords on payment issues; • Compile and maintain records of operating expenses and revenues, prepare reports and review rents to ensure they reflect market value; • Manage service contract documentation • Compile data related to the department's properties and services. • Contribute to the preparation of reports and support the preparation of financial reports and budget documents. • Perform other duties and special projects as required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in the commercial and industrial property management industry; • Good knowledge of documentation as well as legal and administrative terms related to industrial and commercial leases Very good writing skills in French and English •Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite; •Attention to detail and ability to organize work; •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple files while remaining rigorous; •Team player and collaborative with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
