We are seeking an experienced professional to work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and other key internal stakeholders in evaluating, negotiating, and executing acquisitions. The role will lead the M&A process from start to finish, including market analysis, target valuation, due diligence, integration planning, and deal negotiations. The ideal candidate will also build and manage relationships with target companies and monitor industry trends to identify potential opportunities for growth.

What you will accomplish with us:

- Collaborate with the CEO and other senior stakeholders to assess, negotiate, and finalize acquisition opportunities;
- Lead the full M&A lifecycle, including market scans, valuation of targets, development of investment theses, due diligence, synergy assessments, integration costs, and negotiations;
- Prepare essential documentation for transactions, including deal presentations for C-Level and Board approval;
- Partner with regional and cross-functional leaders to support integration teams in developing and executing detailed integration plans for acquired companies, outlining milestones, timelines, and resources;
- Build and maintain a prioritized list of external targets to accelerate business growth for The Master Group;
- Establish relationships with key decision-- makers and influencers at target companies and industry boards;
- Monitor the HVAC industry and broader ecosystem, staying updated on competitors and market shifts

What You Bring to Our Team:

- 6-10+ years of experience in corporate development, venture capital/private equity, or investment banking;
- Undergraduate degree, and/or MBA. CPA-CA and/or CFA is not mandatory but appreciated
- Strong valuation and analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and solid business acumen;
- Ability to lead teams, coordinate projects, and drive independent analysis;
- Direct experience managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders throughout the M&A process;
- Proven ability to learn quickly, manage pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
Extensive experience with financial modeling and reporting, gained through relevant work experience or advanced coursework;
- Hybrid role requiring approximately two days per week in the office. This is not a fully remote position
