The technical advisor will have as main responsibility to assure a technical support after sales to the customers.
Troubleshooting and diagnostics over the phone and on site; Manage repairs with suppliers; Assist with the start-up of equipment sold in collaboration with the contractor; Document claims; Write commissioning assistance and site visit reports.
DEP in refrigeration or DEC in building mechanics or any combination of relevant training and experience as a refrigeration technician; TAG 1 gas card required; Good communicator; Organizational skills; Initiative and resourcefulness; Diplomacy and courtesy; Good knowledge of refrigeration and hydronic systems; Good knowledge of control systems; Knowledge of welding; Knowledge of electricity; Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with Master employees and suppliers based in our offices in Ontario, Western Canada and Maritimes, and interactions in French with suppliers and employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa).
