Demand Planning Manager

The Demand Planning Manager will be the company's contact person for the Ducted and Ductless product lines for which they are responsible. This person will be responsible for demand planning and executing product inventory management strategies, managing product availability all the way of the product lifecycles, etc. in Canada. This position requires a high level of market, government rebates, market trends and ductless product knowledge and a deep understanding of the HVAC industry, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and Master Group's internal team members, including sales.

The Demand Planning Manager will be required to travel occasionally to the Master Group's various places of business to discuss and attend meetings with regional sales, purchasing, supply chain and product teams.

What you will accomplish with us:

• Managing and owning demand forecasting.
• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate and timely demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with product management and regional sales to gather input on promotions, rebates and other factors that may impact demand.
• Development and utilization of SPI tool to generate demand and inventory balance
• Work closely with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Monitor inventory turnover and adjust forecasts as necessary to minimize excess or obsolete stock.
• Implement strategies to reduce stock-outs and backorders.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration with various departments, including sales, product management, logistics etc.
• Share insights and forecast data to facilitate better decision-making across the organization.
• Conduct regular analysis of KPIs related to demand forecasting and inventory management.
• Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the demand planning process.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Implement best practices and industry benchmarks to enhance demand planning processes.
• Regular coordination with sale's regions and Product Management.
• Travel within Canada as and when required etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to Our Team:

• Knowledge of MS Office software
• Mastery and knowledge of Ducted and Ductless Market and applications
• Knowledge of Ducted and Ductless products in the Canadian marketplace
• Knowledge of the industry standards, transitions, and market direction for these products
• Knowledge of the target market for these products
• Excellent understanding for products lines and their application both
• Good sales skills: Ability to convince, both with the sales team and external customers.
• Good communicator and interpersonal relations capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Experience with new product transition and launch planning
• Sense of urgency and sharp customer service
• Autonomy in managing priorities and schedules
• Demonstrated teamwork abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Diplomacy, courtesy, and political acumen
• Knowledge of Canadian market trends and customer needs in the HVAC industry
