Reporting to the Manager, Logistics Engineering, and supporting primarily the Eastern Region Distribution Centre and it’s management team, Master is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Engineering Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency by identifying areas of improvement, implementing process enhancements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes within our Distribution Centre and across the entire network.

What you will accomplish with us:

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify key areas for process enhancement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction
opportunities within the Distribution Centre and network.
- Executing a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with
organizational goals.

Process Analysis and Optimization:
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for
improvement and optimization.
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives, including lean methodologies, Six
Sigma principles, and industrial engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized processes
and best-in-class operational procedures.
- Writing training materials, work procedures (SOPs) and process modeling
- Develop and establish performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and track improvement progress. Regularly monitor, report, and analyze KPIs to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas of
improvement.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators, process
improvements, and project outcomes to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Navigate and make sense of unrefined raw data (SQL database)

Project Management and Training:
- Manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project goals,
timelines, and budgets are met.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive
successful project implementation.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on process improvement initiatives, tools, and techniques.

Distribution Center Design:
- Oversee the design and layout of distribution centers to ensure optimal utilization of space, efficient material flow, and alignment with safety and operational standards. Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to implement design changes that enhance productivity and operational excellence

What You Bring to Our Team:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in process improvement, preferably in a Distribution Centre or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and industrial engineering techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization tools.
o Advanced knowledge in SQL (requirement) and PowerBI/Alteryx (requirement)
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Motivated and eager self starter, with ability to work independently or part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence
- Knowledge of AutoCad software (required) to assist with Distribution Center layout designs.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA required) and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Visio an asset)
- Knowledge/understanding of ERP and WMS software (SX Enterprise, and TWL software an asset).
- Position located in Boucherville, Quebec. Occasional travel may be required (Canada/US)
- Proficiency in both English and French
